Lovely stuff.
Sorry for the delay in posting this and updating my website with new work, busy times indeed recently, which can only be a good thing.
Graphics
Some of my recent projects include some more work for Paradigm – I have designed their annual conference and ball logo and mini booklet, so hope that all goes well for them in a few weeks time! Also tried something new in designing an Optical Mark Reading software questionnaire (the system used on multi-choice exam papers.) They were actually quite enjoyable to do, designing a questionnaire doesn’t have to mean a boring layout.
Some more Flyer work for Rain Nightclub. Good to get stuck into a project that is a little different than my normal work. Think the NYE flyers came out really well!
Websites
Finished a few small websites off in the last few months including ginamanns.co.uk, thecraftycamper.com, teambalancise.co.uk and graceshub.co.uk. All pretty different styles and target markets. The best part was creating the VW Camper Van cartoon image from photos of the 1970′s van the company take to VW shows.
Other Stuff
The ss.com watch website (watch-ss.com) is really starting to take off now, watches flying off the shelves. Watch this space for some new developments on the website and a new action plan for agents/sellers in several countries worldwide!
So this is just a little update, letting the world know what I have been doing this last month or so and showing off some of my recently completed work. Included are a few sites that I think are for a really worthwhile cause so check them out if you have time.
Ongoing work for Paradigm & ‘Reach Out’
Many of my recent projects are with Paradigm (a UK based consultancy agency), they do a lot of excellent work with local communities and services in the field of disability support. ‘Reach Out’ is an ongoing project enabling authorities to focus on much needed changes and help in ‘personalising day and community services’ for people with disabilities. Work includes the website, forum, graphics/leaflets and a set of OMR questionnaire forms.
A similar smaller project for Paradigm is ‘Aspirations for life’ – A campaign raising aspirations and expectations for children and young people with learning disabilities; with a particular focus on employment. This website/campaign recently featured on BBC radio Newcastle.
Projects for small / start-up businesses
This week I have finished a site for ‘About Time – Coaching and Development’ a small company directed by Candice Brewer, an expert in Personal and Team coaching/development and NLP (Neuro-Linguistic Programming). I really like the clean layout of the site we developed.
D.Jones Building Services a family run building company in Manchester has also just gone live, showcasing some of their projects. This is a classic example of a small site produced on a budget, that will stand up to its bigger (more expensive) rival websites from the local area.
Personal work
This year also saw the launch of ‘Large Format Lenses’ and ‘watch-ss.com’ – personal projects that have been developed in my spare time to keep me busy and have now started to yield some interest and orders. I am however still waiting for that ‘big order’ that will allow retirement at the age of 27.
In the pipeline
A few projects are just starting including The T-Shirt Factory (a joint project) and a website for a secret new pinhole camera developed by Walker Cameras that will be hitting the market soon! Ongoing work also continues for the West Australian Institute of Further Studies and Rain Nightclub.
On a more personal note – I am still reeling from my trip to Bolton to see Everton play last weekend. Maybe the team is in need of some NLP themselves in order to avoid relegation this season.
Thanks for reading

Hi, a quick post for my second update.
I have, in the past, been unorganised enough to have forgotten a password. Funny that, as I only have several thousand to remember and no short-term memory.
Whatever browser you use will save a lot of passwords if you are nice enough to tell it too, but they appear as hidden blobs of fury if you need to see the actual text.
Easy – copy & paste this code:
javascript:(function(){var s,F,j,f,i; s = “”; F = document.forms; for(j=0; j<F.length; ++j) { f = F[j]; for (i=0; i<f.length; ++i) { if (f[i].type.toLowerCase() == “password”) s += f[i].value + “\n”; } } if (s) alert(“Passwords in forms on this page:\n\n” + s); else alert(“There are no passwords in forms on this page.”);})();
into the address bar, and sit back and watch your saved passwords appear n front of your eyes. (defo works in IE and Firefox)
Found this on Kaymond.cc – thought I would share!
Welcome to my blog, thanks for taking the time to visit. Here is the place where you will find the latest nuggets of web geekery that I have come across on my travels.
I’ll try to add some nice looking graphic designs that I stumble across (like some of the rather cracking posts on www.ryanfmc.co.uk) but mostly it’s going to be for you fans of css, Joomla! and WordPress.
I have not been building websites for too long, so I’m not going to be re-designing the wheel or creating the next Facebook, but hopefully I can shed some light on a few common problems that seem to crop up in various situations. From creating Search Engine Friendly URLs to finding hidden passwords, I’ll let you know how I stumbled my way to a result, probably not too pretty, but effective!
Let me also apologise in advance as I’m sure there will be a few epic rants from time to time, mostly based around Internet Explorer or general piles of bad web design that some companies get away with.
Feel free to add your comments to give me a mild ego boost or let me know if you have a better example of how to kick a certain problem’s ass.
